New and used price for a product

Hi,

 

What methods are there to display a product in the Catalog which allows the user to select it, but then from within the product info page, select whether the product is new or used. This will then alter the price accordingly and remove 1 from the quantity of new or used stock.

 

 

I know the easy option is to have a separate product e.g. New - NHL 08 and Used - NHL 08, however the database im using annoyingly has the new / used price and quantity stored together in the same record as they share a barcode.

 

Any ideas?
