Hi folks.

I hope you can help. When I go to the store on my site I get the message below. This is not a new install. This store was up and running. Not sure what happened. Anysuggestions?

Internal Server Error

The server encountered an internal error or misconfiguration and was unable to complete your request.

Please contact the server administrator, [email protected] and inform them of the time the error occurred, and anything you might have done that may have caused the error.

More information about this error may be available in the server error log.

Additionally, a 404 Not Found error was encountered while trying to use an ErrorDocument to handle the request.

Check your error logs.. that should definitely tell you what the problem is..

I called godaddy to see where these logs are. They told me I could not access them. Is there a log file with OS?

There isn't.. and anyway if it caused by your hrtaccess, that is an apache error.. It is breaking up when trying to run the .htaccess file..

(i'm not saying it necessarily is)

Thanks for your help. I renamed my .htaccess file to see if the problem was there. I still got the internal Server error. I have 2 payment modules. Paypal and MO order. Paypal works fine. Any other sugguestions? Thanks!

Except you would be making changes to the catalog side (that thread is about admin problems).

That might give you what you want.

If I suggest you edit any file(s) make a backup first - I'm not perfect and neither are you.

Thanks. I finally got an error report from Godaddy. The first page was full of robot.txt errors. I used the contribution so I think thats fix.

My problem is the check_out process file. My shopping cart goes thur fine until that page. So the error message now is:

malformed header from script. Bad header=No recipient addresses found. check_out process.php file.

Any sugguestions ? Many thanks!
