Just opened up an E-Commerce store today, and having a panic attack. When my customers log in, their name STAYS there and other customers see what their information is and their activity. I had one lady trying to put something in her shopping cart and another lady was putting things in at the same time. THEN, someone checked out and her address on the bill was another lady's address.

For some reason, people are not able to access their accounts individually.

I am FREAKING OUT!!!!!!! I do not want to compromise other people's private information. I feel nauseous thinking about it!!!! PLEASE PLEASE someone tell me what I need to do to rectify this.

I've temporarily closed the store, and requested that NO ONE place any orders until I fix this problem.

If ANYONE knows what's going on, I would be endebted to them for their advice.

Kind Regards,

LAngel (having meltdown)

Login to your osc admin panel >>configuration>>sessions

Block Search Engine Spiders <--set to TRUE

If set to True spiders will be prevented from receiving a session id and starting a session. It is recommended that this setting is set to True.

Regenerate Session ID <--set to TRUE

If set to True the session id will be recreated when the customer tries to checkout or login to their account. This helps prevent two customers from accidently logging into each others account due to hard coded session id's in the store. (Requires PHP >=4.1)

If problem persist,

Force Cookie Use <--set to TRUE

If set to True customers will need to have cookies enabled in their browser to be able to shop.
