Manufactures Dropdown Exclude?

Hi,

 

I have a heavily modified site but I’m still using the original manufacturers dropdown to show my “Shop by Brand” feature. Problem is the product is shallow and constantly changing so manufacturers may be out one month and back the next. I don’t want to have to keep re-uploading the manufacturer info, so I just want them to not show if there is no currently active product assigned to them……..

 

Any coders out there with a solution?

well it should be under minimal or maxiumuim values. just find it and put 0.

Hmmm the only values are:

 

MAX_DISPLAY_MANUFACTURERS_IN_A_LIST

MAX_DISPLAY_MANUFACTURER_NAME_LEN

MAX_MANUFACTURERS_LIST

 

Nothing here is checking for product count. If you look at a manufacture in the admin it shows the quantity of product associated with it. Any ideas how to set the dropdown to check that count?
