acet Posted April 21, 2009 Posted April 21, 2009 Hello, We're having a bit of trouble finding out what to do in order to set up a paypal method of payment in Ireland and we're wondering if anyone can help. After sending paypal a message on the subject they wrote back: "Since your account is in Ireland, you should most likely set up PayPal with IPN on oscommerce" Has anyone in Ireland done this before and how has it worked out? Thanks in advance.
web-project Posted April 21, 2009 Posted April 21, 2009 Has anyone in Ireland done this before and how has it worked out? I have done several times, no issues. Simply install the PayPal IPN module & select your currency - Euro. Please read this line: Do you want to find all the answers to your questions? click here. As for contribution database it's located here! 8 people out of 10 don't bother to read installation manuals. I can recommend: if you can't read the installation manual, don't bother to install any contribution yourself. Before installing contribution or editing/updating/deleting any files, do the full backup, it will save to you & everyone here on the forum time to fix your issues. Any issues with oscommerce, I am here to help you.
acet Posted April 29, 2009 Author Posted April 29, 2009 Ok cool. I've installed the IPN module and it seems to work alright at least with the sandbox version of PayPal. Just one more thing. Does there need to be any interaction with the Irish banks or does the paypal module take care of all that? thanks.
