♥14steve14 Posted April 21, 2009 Posted April 21, 2009 Just had a quick look at your site. You have a security warning come up when entering your https papges. This would put me of straight away. You small omages are fuzzy. you need to add a contribution to sort this out. Your buttons should be changed to something thast match the rest of your site. You need to add meta tag contibution of some sort. On this page http://www.performanceoffroadcenter.com/os...roducts_id=1704 the image is way too large and forces the whole site out of proportion, and way off the screen. Remove the "this product was added" text from your product info pages. I dont neet to know that. Privacy and conditions pages are empty. On this page http://www.performanceoffroadcenter.com/os...roducts_id=5597 you just have a very long list of years. Why not make it a table or just put "fits from ???? to ???? you have a grey header bar when you flick through to your products when all the rest are orange. Got bored looking now, so will leave it at that. I am sure that others will be along soon. REMEMBER BACKUP, BACKUP AND BACKUP
Guest Posted April 21, 2009 Posted April 21, 2009 The 1st thing I look for when entering a site is SSL verification, if I dont see it they dont see me so I left. Yes I know you have it, but some people are put off by not seeing it upon entery.
germ Posted April 21, 2009 Posted April 21, 2009 The "unsecure" content: <img src="http://x.myspace.com/images/addFriendIcon.gif" border="0" alt="Add To Friends"> If I suggest you edit any file(s) make a backup first - I'm not perfect and neither are you. magicandmischief182 Posted April 24, 2009 Author Posted April 24, 2009 I haven't seen the security warning, and every time I've contacted the company that does our SSL they say it's up to date. How can I make oscommerce see that it's up to date.
germ Posted April 24, 2009 Posted April 24, 2009 I haven't seen the security warning, and every time I've contacted the company that does our SSL they say it's up to date. How can I make oscommerce see that it's up to date. Nothing wrong with your certificate or the "standard" osC code. It's the code for your "MySpace Friends" box you added that's hosing things up. You've got a direct HTTP link to an image on a HTTPS page. That'll screw your SSL every time... The security warning won't show in Firefox. If I suggest you edit any file(s) make a backup first - I'm not perfect and neither are you. magicandmischief182 Posted April 27, 2009 Author Posted April 27, 2009 so if i delete the infobox it'll go away?
germ Posted April 27, 2009 Posted April 27, 2009 That's one way. You could also change the code to not show the box when you're on a SSL page. Or maybe copy the image to your site and change the link to use the image in your own images folder. Or if it's a copyrighted image, get a non-copyrighted image and use it (from your own images folder). Think about it, and I'll help with which ever way you want to proceed (if you want/need any help). If I suggest you edit any file(s) make a backup first - I'm not perfect and neither are you. Since I can't see if there is a SSL warning can someone check it now?

ctemplates08 Posted April 29, 2009 Posted April 29, 2009 One thing I noticed about your site is that it has a skull image. For me, that's irrelevant for your site and it will definitely turn some of your visitors off.
