extomas Posted April 21, 2009 Posted April 21, 2009 We need information, tips or tricks, maybe addons which help promote blog (and e-company). Maybe you can offer something? And one more question is about domains, how any letter must be in domain that he would be memorable? I'm talking about e-shop for clothes, small eletronic stuff, auto tyres :)

Of course wordpress is blogging software, and oscommerce is a shopping cart. Despite what some may think, they do not work together.
Jan Zonjee Posted April 29, 2009 Posted April 29, 2009 Glad you found what you wanted. Yeah...sure, not really convinced <_<
Guest Posted April 30, 2009 Posted April 30, 2009 Yeah...sure, not really convinced <_< What do you mean? I am glad they found the answer they were seeking. It did not solve any of my problems. If you do not want want me to post, it does not worry me. I have better things to do.
Jan Zonjee Posted April 30, 2009 Posted April 30, 2009 What do you mean? Your posts are highly regarded Leslie. The comment was not directed at you but at a new member who is seeking some vaguely related to osC topic and then answers his/hers own question with an outside link. Reeks of spam to me. That is what I wanted to say.

That is what I wanted to say. OK, thanks Jan. Having gone down this road recently of incorporating a blog in my my shop (and not the other way way around), I have found it a difficult exercise to get what I want. In my mind, the ideal would be to have one one account for the shop and blog. This (I hope) would limit the opportinity for abuse by spammers, and make it more readily used by genuine "customers" (people who have registered in the shop/blog). I do lack the programming skills to do this, so the fault is my own.
