Admin area not showing after htaccess login passes

I turned over a shop to my mom a while back, and she has forgotten her password. I'm on OSC 2.2 I believe. I reset it through my host's control panel so htaccess now works. You can go to http://www.casual-elegance.net/admin/ and it will pop up the authentication box for password validation.

 

Now that I have the right p/w in htaccess, it accepts it here. However, the page that "loads" in response to this is totally blank, no code, no source, just "Done" at the bottom in the left status bar area.

 

I do have an administrators table in the db but from what I've read, htaccess bypasses that.

 

In any case, I need to get into the Admin panel.

 

I haven't installed anything new in a long time, long before I turned the working site over to my mom, who has down plenty of input to the database through the Admin panel. I've tried reuploading admin's index.php file from my last backup made after final configuration of the site.

 

Any ideas on why it would suddenly stop working?
