mblessed Posted April 20, 2009 Posted April 20, 2009 I am having a problem with my shopping cart. Everything works fine until you update an item in the cart. When you add or remove an item it zeros out the prices of anything else you have in the cart. Can someone tell me how to correct this?
e.giftshoppe Posted April 20, 2009 Posted April 20, 2009 I think your cart needs some adjustments to be back to normal.Ask someone who knows how to fixed for it. ____________________________________ Look for the best cell phone charging stations.
mblessed Posted April 20, 2009 Author Posted April 20, 2009 That is what I am trying to do here. I have gotten help from this forum before, I hope I will again. After running another test it looks like it is somewhere in my Shopping_cart.php file. The problem is when I hit the update button that is when it removes the price and only shows $0.00. I went through the complete cycle of a purchase like that and it does not charge for the items it only charges the shipping as if the item is free. Any suggestions on how to fix this?
natashome Posted April 20, 2009 Posted April 20, 2009 is this a template you purchased or the default osc?also which version
mblessed Posted April 23, 2009 Author Posted April 23, 2009 It is a template I purchased but it was working fine until I uploaded a contribution to allow the use of various option types when setting up product attributes.
mblessed Posted May 3, 2009 Author Posted May 3, 2009 It is a template I purchased form templatemonster and it is version 2.2 MS2 (060817) but it was working fine until I uploaded a contribution to allow the use of various option types when setting up product attributes. Now when you update the cart (like remove an item or add more to a product) it makes the price at 0.00 if there were attributes to the product. The items that do not have any attributes set to it the price is still there. Can someone give me any suggestions on how to fix this.
FIMBLE Posted May 3, 2009 Posted May 3, 2009 Sounds like a session problem you have, did you back up before your added the contribution? The place you bought from make great looking sites, but they dont care about the code and destroy a lot of good work. I would no thold my breath about support from them they will only say to come here!!! Sometimes you're the dog and sometimes the lamp post [/url] My Contributions
mblessed Posted May 3, 2009 Author Posted May 3, 2009 Yes I did back up my site. I could not even get them to even answer me at all.
shahriat Posted May 5, 2009 Posted May 5, 2009 It's better practice after found out the fix just let another know what was that fix so that forum reader can get help from that.
