It is seems to be only when a new customer has just created an account goes to checkout but is not logged in yet. Instead of going to the login page, it thinks that the user has nothing in their cart, but they do. And it sends them right back to the shopping cart. I am using version 2.1 and I know I should be using the newer one, but I have already spent 3 months on 2.1 customizing. So if anybody knows how to fix this that would be great.
