Fireball Posted February 5, 2003 Posted February 5, 2003 i installed osC last week and added quite a lot (about 20 ;) of the contributions found at the page ... i stumbled over a view points that id's like the ppl who add contributions to keep in mind: * plz get your table names from the config files like all other parts of osC do .. it's a pain in the a** if you have to change hardcoded table names by hand 'cause you're using a table prefix (for being able to ahve two osC shops in one database, or simply 'cause it's your test database where you put a lot of stuff so table names could be already in use without using a prefix) * providing modified files is fine, just have a file with all the changes noted or mark them in the changed file so it's possible to add them to a newer version or a already modified file ... * remember to use language files, wither by adding to existing ones or adding new ones ...
