customize the basket with a calendar?

Hi wondered if you could expand the areas of the cart, that is add a text field and a field schedule date.

because the products have date of attendance.

I can't but you can.

 

I was asked to do this very thing a while back and I roughed it out and determined it would take longer than I had time for.

 

My particular product was classes being taught by an instructor.

 

Here's the thing...

 

Adding the fields into the admin and database is easy enough. The work comes in when you start using the information. You have to look into upcoming this or that, instructor schedules, and just a whole host of what ifs not to mention having to constantly be updating your products adding/deleting product due to dated products.

 

I really wanted to build a contribution to address this very issue but just have not the time.
