mikezy56 Posted April 18, 2009 Posted April 18, 2009 As a total novice at shopping cart systems I installed OSCommerce on my web site although I have not yet created the link which would bring it to customer attention. My issue is that I have set a price for the first item of £2.97 but the page steadfastly shows £0.00 and I cannot alter it. I have edited the line in the product module but no change

mikezy56 Posted April 19, 2009 Author Posted April 19, 2009 check the default currency in the language file and correct to Pound Sterling. Thank you Alex that helped for a while but now I seem to have added 3 Downloadable files as products and deleted the Euro Currency but the shop is still selling my products for £0.00 and not bothering to send the downloads to my customers? So not a perfect cure.

mikezy56 Posted April 20, 2009 Author Posted April 20, 2009 Thanks for all your help but I still cannot get the simplest things to work. I have searched through the Store directory which was created by Just Hosts (they host my site)auto Install device. I cannot find the sub directory referred to by post 2 item 15 and there seems to be no way I can get my prices to show. Neither does OScommerce seem to be prepared to actually send the downloads to my customers. I have not made any significant money yet and I feel that if the open source product wont work I will have to give up on my web ambitions all together since I cannot invest mega bucks in a bespoke design and I am really struggling with Javascript, Ajkax and PHP. Do I need to uninstall OS Commerce and reinstall it?
