Morgan^ Posted April 17, 2009 Posted April 17, 2009 (edited) Hi, I'v been looking around for several months now and trying several "Seo url" contributions for oscommerce 2.2 (For instance Ultimate Seo Urls, Search Engine Friendly Urls etc.), but all of them seem to have several disadvantages which make them not really the choise to go for to integrate in my store. Recently I came across a Seo Url contribution for Zen cart called "Simple Seo Url" ( http://simple-seo-url.com/ ) It's a Seo Url contribution about which the author claims it can (maybe easily) be ported to Oscommerce. Looking at the possibilities and the dedicated devellopment of this Simple Seo Url contribution, it seems to surpass all of the current free Seo url contributions easily including Ultimate Seo Urls from Chemo. I've searched on the forums and between all oscommerce contributions if I could find an Oscommerce 2.2 port of this contribution but can't seem to find anything that points to the existance of one. So my question is, have I maybe overlooked something or hasn't anyone yet attempted to make a port of it for Oscommerce? And if not might there be anyone who might be capable and interested in making a port of it and making it available for the community? (The author seems to be willing to provide all coorporation to establish this). Unfortunately I have too little PHP knowledge to accomplish this myself, otherwise I might have tried it myself as of all my searches for a good opensource Seo url contribution, this really looks like the most promising to me. ♥toyicebear Posted April 18, 2009 Posted April 18, 2009 Simple seo urls sound ok... But Ultimate seo urls with Independent SEO URL Validation does mostly the same. (There is a mod for ultimate seo urls which lets you change the url on a per product basis too) Or an even more flexible one: SEO-G Quote Basics for osC 2.2 Design - Basics for Design V2.3+ - Seo & Sef Url's - Meta Tags for Your osC Shop - Steps to prevent Fraud... - MS3 and Team News... - SEO, Meta Tags, SEF Urls and osCommerce - Commercial Support Inquiries - OSC 2.3+ How To To see what more i can do for you check out my profile [click here]
