Hello,

I'm trying to change the current template of my store:

http://www.curvytemptations.com

I'd like to use this template:

http://www.curvytemptations.com/beta/index.html

http://www.curvytemptations.com/beta/subpage.html

I'm a start up, no funds, can someone help walk me through how to do this? I think in the process I need to upgrade to the latest version of oscommerce. I know it's not a simple task any help would be greatly appreciated.

Help?

Simone

you need to modify so many files to get the template installed! Any php/html/css experience?

Please read this line: Do you want to find all the answers to your questions? click here. As for contribution database it's located here!

8 people out of 10 don't bother to read installation manuals. I can recommend: if you can't read the installation manual, don't bother to install any contribution yourself.

Before installing contribution or editing/updating/deleting any files, do the full backup, it will save to you & everyone here on the forum time to fix your issues.

Any issues with oscommerce, I am here to help you.

Yes I do have some php/html/css. I've modified the template to what you see listed so far. I'm just not sure how to connect the dots to have it take the place of what's currently up. I know it's alot of going through files and changing things here and there, I'm not sure which files to change/replace/modify.

Hi Nick,

Thanks a bunch for the link it's very informative and a great tool for me to use. I appreciate it.

I do have a few questions, I'm stuck with this new template that I'm trying to incorporate. The new template exists as an index.php

subpage.php

images folder

js folder with one file in it

ccs folder

My first instinct after backing up and ftping the files to my dsktop so I can play with the files was to start with the images, easy enough. Then incorporate the index page and subpage into a copy of my current site. So that's what I tried. I replaced the index page that's in the root folder, then, I went to replace the subpage and realized, I don't know what to replace it with. I thought it might be the "product_info" page, but hmmmm... I'm stuck. Any thoughts?
