Hi guys,

Got another query with regards to 'Shipping/Delivery' charges, the site I am developing has a number of user groups (eg Retail, Trade, Wholesale), Retail is the default user group for most individual customers, while companies will be either 'Trade or Wholesale' - each user group has their own set of shippings charges which depending on the amount spent.

See below for better explanation:

Retail

  • Spend less than £25 - Delivery charge is £3.50
  • Spend over £25 & less than £75 - Delivery charge is £7
  • Spend over £75 - Delivery is free

Trade

  • Spend less £150 - Delivery is £7
  • Spend over £150 - Delivery is free

Can anyone explain how this can be implemented into the checkout, any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks in advance

Retail

* Spend less than £25 - Delivery charge is £3.50

* Spend over £25 & less than £75 - Delivery charge is £7

* Spend over £75 - Delivery is free

can be done via any standard shipping module.

Trade

* Spend less £150 - Delivery is £7

* Spend over £150 - Delivery is free

can be done via small modification of shipping module.

8 people out of 10 don't bother to read installation manuals. I can recommend: if you can't read the installation manual, don't bother to install any contribution yourself.

Before installing contribution or editing/updating/deleting any files, do the full backup, it will save to you & everyone here on the forum time to fix your issues.

Any issues with oscommerce, I am here to help you.

Any advice on this could be done? I'm not that used to the osCommerce system (i'll be happier when the new v3 with its object-orientated approach is ready)

cheers
