product quanities

Hi all,

I'm new to all this and have managed to work out what i need except for one little thing.

I have search all possible places i can think of and have found posts that are sort of what i need to do but none are exactly right.

I have an online clothing store and sell different sizes of the same item. i have worked out how to use attribute to list sizes on the one product except i can not work out how to set the quanity for each size available.

eg, Girls top size 6 quanity 1 size 6 quanity 4 size 12 quanity 2.

or boys pj size 6 quanity 1 size 8 quanity 1 size 10 quanity 1.

 

I have put quanity as one when first created item then added sizes in attributes, did a test purchase and now it says i have no quanity left but i do just in different sizes. I then increase quanity when created item and then did another test purchase and was able to purchase 4 of same size but this is not right.

 

Any help would be great its the last thing i need to do before i publish my site
