Thank you in advance, Alex First off in your catalog/index.php you have 2 <body> tags. Remove one of them. As to your width issue, you are setting a fixed width of 880px. Between the left and right columns and the center boxes you are displaying 5 pictures. They have a width of 180px. Adding in cellpadding the width is over 900px. Reduce the size of your images or increase the width of your tables. Im having this same problem at the moment.Did you or anyone else work out what uo with it yet. Check the size of your images as well.
Guest Posted April 16, 2009 Posted April 16, 2009 I have the basic design package installed. My problem seems to be unique to the product_reviews and product_reviews_info page when the reviews box is bought in pushing the product picture and right column over. Is there somewhere that I can change the width of the reviews boxes to fit as my images are ok. Either that or I mite just delete the product picture from being displayed on those pages that way there isnt an empty space in between the review and right_col as reviews pile up. What do you think?
Guest Posted April 16, 2009 Posted April 16, 2009 Sorry Im building this one on my computer at the moment. If the problem persists Ill put a link up when I have uploaded it. Do you have any Ideas. Its funny as I started this one from a copy of another site I am building on my computer and it seems to works fine with those pages and Im pretty sure I have done anything even remotely close to editing those pages. So Im beginning to think that maybe it mite just be my stylesheet. As its all I think I have touched that would affect those 2 pages yet none of the others. Sometimes this stuff just kills me, then when I realise what it is, I really want to hit myself.
Guest Posted April 16, 2009 Posted April 16, 2009 OMG. Im such a tool. Sorry about wasting you time. turns out it was just me. When I did the test review I just did the typical keyboard mash but as I turns out there wasnt a space place anywhere on the first line. Everything was pushed out of the container. I was so confused as to why it was doing it and my other site wasn't. But when I did my mash on the first site I conveniently only just had a space where it was needed. Guest Posted April 16, 2009 Posted April 16, 2009 I saw in another one of your posts that you were changing your sites width to 800px. So make sure that your images widths combined are not exceeding the width of your site. You can also make sure that in catalog/includes/boxes/reviews.php and anyother file that is not working that you are using the tep_image function to call the image. Make sure also that SMALL_IMAGE_WIDTH and SMALL_IMAGE_HEIGHT are present. Those settings can be set in your admin under Configuration-->Images. Hope that helps
Guest Posted April 16, 2009 Posted April 16, 2009 Now as it looks I must have reloaded one of the original files that shows the products and manufacturers in the respective boxes in column_left It lists the original products that come with OSC in the boxes but only on my main pages ie. index, new products, specials, contact, etc. Yet on the pages themselves they still show all of my products. ie. on index and specials all my specials show, my new products show. Also when one of the products is selected the new categories and manufacturers boxes show in the left column. Which file did I upload to do this. Im not even sure where to start as I wasnt paying attention to the left column at all when I was trying to sort out my problem that didnt exist in the first place. and I was I was looking at the files all over the place. So anyone of them I could have swapped by accident . lol.
