Petre Posted April 11, 2009 Posted April 11, 2009 Hi, I don't seem to find any posts re setting up prices irrespective of exchange rate. Some of our products will be available on different markets, and for the same product each market needs to have its own price expressed in its own currency. Is it possible to setup each price in various currencies irrespective of the exchange rate? (in other words to be able to enter manually one amount in Euro and another amount in GBP for the same product?) Many thanks.
Petre Posted April 14, 2009 Author Posted April 14, 2009 Anyone there, please? Is there a way of specifying prices per each currency supported by the web site, overriding the default osCommerce currency conversion rules and rates (prices to be expressed in various currencies irrespective of conversion rates)? Also, is it possible to use "add to cart" links/buttons from an external page that will preserve the currency that is on the external page? (Someone was suggesting that the link: "www.yoursite.com/catalog/index.php?action=buy_now&products_id=XX" could be used on the external page, but the cart displays the osc default currency instead). Any suggestions, please? Many thanks.

Any suggestions, please? Many thanks. Hi, It's been more than a week since I started this post and haven't received any replies. We need to display prices with special offers relating to a particular market (country/region). In other words, we need to be able to setup one price in Euros, another price in GBP and a third price in USD for the same product irrespective of conversion rates. So we can have a set of prices expressed in GBP for the UK market, a set of prices in USD for the North American one and another set of prices in Euros for the EU market. Would it be a good idea to create separate folders for each market (i.e. /uk, /us, /eu) and install osc on each of these folders? Has anyone come across this problem before, please? I'd really appreciate your ideas/suggestions. I need an urgent reply as I'm unable to proceed without answers to these questions. Many thanks in advance.
ashumak Posted February 8, 2010 Posted February 8, 2010 Hi, Did you ever get a response to this? I am looking for a way to do the same!
