Unwanted spaces * header navigation*

Im messing with a header on a site, where the My account, View Cart and Check Out images are. I put in new images, that go strait up and down, in there place. However there are spaces between each one... Im pretty sure it's the pixel trans, I've searched the forum and searched the header, index, and application top pages over and over But I don't know where to find the code to get rid of these pesky spaces.

a link to your site would be helpful to see what you mean..anyway you should probably look in the header.php file for space...or they might have spaces from the stylesheet.css file
