Double entries in Configuration / My Store - Tax not displaying

I am battling a strange problem and really would appreciate help.

 

I had the store fully set up with AUD$ (Australian dollar), 10%GST within Australia and everything working.

Now, I'm unsure what happened but I noticed products are no longer listed with tax included and when I started looking for the reason, I noticed several "double-entries" in Configuration / My Store.

 

The entries I see there twice include:

 

Country Australia

Zone New South Wales

Zone New South Wales

Expected Sort Order desc

Expected Sort Field date_expected

Switch To Default Language Currency true

Switch To Default Currency true

Send Extra Order Emails To

Send Extra Order E-Mails To

Use Search-Engine Safe URLs false

Use Search-Engine Safe URLs (still in development) false

Display Cart After Adding Product true

Display Cart After Adding Product true

Allow Guest To Tell A Friend false

Can anyone please help?

Log in to your database server. Look in your tables for duplicate entries.

Delete the duplicates.

If you are unsure about this, then install the Total Configuration contrrib. It will list and delete all your duplicate entries.

I did that and cannot see anything abnormal. I also restored a backup since before the problem started but to no avail

Thanks Satish - there was a range of them there with ID of 18x whereas the original entries seemed to be in much lower ID range.

I have deleted the duplicates but for some reason, I am completely unable to display prices "with tax"

 

I'm usng AUD$ currency, Tax Zone AUS, Tax Class GST and Tax Rate GST=10%, linked to Tax Zone AUS.

I have "display prices with tax=true"

 

Any idea what the problem might be?
