Is the password and usr name correct? Hi Edmas I am having a simillar problem when I try log into my website I get the following error: Warning: mysql_connect() [function.mysql-connect]: Access denied for user 'xxxxxxx'@'localhost' (using password: YES) in /home/xxxxx/public_html/includes/functions/database.php on line 19 Unable to connect to database server! what happened is that yesterday my password to log into my CPanel just disappeared and I could not log into my CPanel. I contacted my Web hosting provider and they changed my password. Before the change of password I could go into my website without a problem. Any ideas how I can solve this? thank you for your help

I changed the password on both my configure files (public/admin/includes/configure.php & includes/configure.php) as suggested by geoffreywalton to the new password using my File Manager on the Control Panel and the problem was fixed.
