Any templates that can be used instead of changing the code?

Hi Guys,

 

Is there any way that i can do all the changes to my website by using some templates which inturn change the necessary code rather than me changing the code. as i dont have any clue of .php language and it is so cumbersome to learn as well.. I dont want to rent a coder who in most cases had come out as fake.

I doubt if you will find a template with everything you want. Have a look in the contributions sections, there are some decent ones there with standard oscommerce code...so you can still expect some support here after you install that.

They all look good, but the problem often is the lack of support afterwards. You will get very little support here if you decide to go with one of those.

Since osCommerce 2.2 does not come with a "Template System", you would benefit from installing STSv4.5.8 (Simple Template System for osC).

 

It will allow you to easily switch templates within the admin. It also features infobox templates and specific page templates or a single template page for your entire site.

 

Since the templates are HTML based, you can use ANY web template available or build your own very easily using any HTML editor such as Dreamweaver or MS Web 2.0.
