Guest Posted April 8, 2009 Posted April 8, 2009 I tried browsing these forums for the past couple of nights looking for a topic to solve my problem, and I didn't see one. Forgive me if I missed it. I am almost finished setting up an online store for a client; however, when I access a category of products and click one of the "buy now" buttons for one of these products, instead of simply adding it to the cart and leaving me on the same page, it takes me to the product attribute page. I do not want this... I'd like the buyers to be able to click the "buy now" button on several products one after another without leaving the product list page. Hopefully I'm making sense. I cannot seem to find where to change this. Any direction will be greatly appreciated.
satish Posted April 8, 2009 Posted April 8, 2009 If a product has attributes this is a normal procedure. make sure that the product You are testing does not have attribute. Guest Posted April 8, 2009 Posted April 8, 2009 Ok that makes sense. The attributes the client has set up for these products is a shipping fee. Is there another way to handle this so that I can end up with the result I'm looking for? Thanks.
Guest Posted April 8, 2009 Posted April 8, 2009 Further to this, I have checked into the store I'm trying to model mine after, and it too has attributes on its products, but their Buy Now button simply updates the cart and stays on the page like I want mine to. Please reference the store below to see what I mean. http://www.scrapbookingfanatics.com
