Member approval

Hello,

 

I have a os com. 2.2 shop.

 

I installed member approval 1.6 no problems any more and everything is working oke!

 

But the biggest problem is not yet solved.

 

When i go in my admin and want to approve a new customer then i see nothing. No new customers.

 

I am reading everything, tried everything i could find on this and the dutch forum but no results yet.

Even the things i read here didnt work out for me.

 

I get an mail that there is a new customer, and the customer receives an email also!

 

I hope that someone here can help me out with this issue. I am desperate at the moment

recheck your installation as it is something missing.

 

Personally I have better idea to modify the Member approval contribution.

I am having the same problem. I did the installation, everything worked fine.

 

But when a customer registers nothing appears in my admin panel, even though customer and admin receive email notifying of a new member waiting approval.

 

Any help please?

I've searched the entire forum to see if there is a solution to the problem above and only to find more people having the same problem with this contribution for years now (!).

 

So I decided to completely remove Member Approval and to install Control Login contribution.

 

Control Login worked perfectly and with fewer changes to my code than Member Approval. It also automatically logs off the user after registration is complete, so customer can only login after he is activated by admin (another problem many people posted in the forum about Member approval).

 

The only thing that is lacking is that it does not notify admin by email when a new user is registered and pending approval. But, this was easy to fix with one line of code so all problems solved! :)
