samdel17 Posted April 3, 2009 Posted April 3, 2009 (edited) Hi Oscommerce Experts! I've been playing with oscommerce shipping module for hours but I still can't get this task to work. Basically, I want to apply a sales tax of 8.25% to all orders coming from California Residents. How do I do that exactly? Any help will be greatly appreciated. What I've done so far: 1. I've made a tax zone for country United States and City California as seen in this screenshot: http://movietronix.com/demo/taxzones.jpg 2. Defined my tax classes as well. See screenshot: http://movietronix.com/demo/taxclass.jpg 3. And merge them together using tax rate screen. See screenshot: http://movietronix.com/demo/taxrates.jpg 4. In the shipping module, I enabled Zone rates to use the tax class I've defined earlier. See screenshot: http://movietronix.com/demo/zonerates.jpg ...however when a customer from california tries to order, I don't see the 8.25% sales tax being applied.
