Grid Style Point of Purchase. (I'm stupid need help!)

I need this information for my web designer.

 

I am building a nut, bolt and screw site, and need to know if a grid, array, or table style point of purchase is possible. I need to have a group of columns and rows so that I can get many parts on one page.

 

The top row may show the diameter of the part in that column, and the rows would each have a length.

I will have my guy look at this and see if it is usable. As to your question about why I am doing the digging if I have a developer, he charges $50 per hour, and I am free.

 

I am working on the database, he helps with the code.
