Ultimate SEO URLs 2.7

Recommended Posts

Hi,

Tried to install Ultimate SEO URLs 2.7 but I am having a problem. ( I now wish I had done 2.1d)

When I click on my categories and products I get 404 errors

Also can I please request help in regards to where the htaccess.php should go or which one of the two I have that I should be adding the code too?

Includes folder or Admin folder? My root folder is /html can this correct? Other posts seem to be calling them /catalog or /shop.

Rookie in great need of help.

Thanks heaps,

Chris

The root of your shop contains the admin and includes directory amongst others.

Most people have their shop in the root directory, some are in a directory called shop or catalog, so that is why they refer to those names.

I'd say de-install and put in 2.1d

Thank you for your reply.

I am sure I can de install all the changes done in the files but do not know how to undue the part in phpaMydmin. Ran these queries as per the install

ALTER TABLE `categories_description` ADD `categories_seo_url` VARCHAR( 100 ) NOT NULL ;

ALTER TABLE `products_description` ADD `products_seo_url` VARCHAR( 100 ) NOT NULL;

Fist time I have used phpMyadmin. Any support would be appreciated.

Thanks,

Chris

Fixed. I removed 2.7. In future will look for support threads before trying to install a package. Will try Ultimate SEO URLs 2.1d considering there are sites using it and support in these forums. Wish me luck
