Transfering Domain?

LondonTown

Recommended Posts

the problem I am having is my oscommerce shop is: http://www.mysite.comuf.com/greenmania/catalog/index.php

but when I go to http://www.mysite.comuf.com I just see: Index of /greenmania/

then I click greenmania I then see:

. Parent Directory

. GPL.txt

. Greenmania/

. License.txt

. More free web resources..url

. catalog/

. header.empty.jpg

. screenshot.jpg

then when I click catalog it brings me to my oscommerce shop

http://www.mysite.comuf.com/greenmania/catalog/index.php

How can I have it so my catalog shows as http://www.mysite.comuf.com instead of the index of greenmania(My downloaded template)

Please help, as I need my purchased domain to show my oscommerce shop and it only shows the index of greenmania instead of my shop which I have spent days on if not weeks

if you are or thinking fo running a serious business, then ask someone to do it for you. for a professional 10minutes is what it needs and it would save you days if not weeks time. basically oyu just need to move everyhting one folder higher if you understand what it means.

Copy or move ALL the CONTENTS of your catalog folder to root(public_html) AND

make these changes to your configure.php files

/includes/ configure.php file (No ssl and no cookies. Why? Don't know ssl cert and domain)

define('HTTP_SERVER', 'http://www.londonboi.com');

define('HTTPS_SERVER', 'http://www.londonboi.com');

define('ENABLE_SSL', 'false');

define('HTTP_COOKIE_DOMAIN', '');

define('HTTPS_COOKIE_DOMAIN', '');

define('HTTP_COOKIE_PATH', '/');

define('HTTPS_COOKIE_PATH', '/');

define('DIR_WS_HTTP_CATALOG', '/');

define('DIR_WS_HTTPS_CATALOG', '/');

define('DIR_FS_CATALOG', '/home/content/londonboi/public_html/');

admin/includes - configure.php (no ssl)

define('HTTP_SERVER', 'http://www.londonboi.com');

define('HTTP_CATALOG_SERVER', 'http://www.londonboi.com');

define('HTTPS_CATALOG_SERVER', 'http//www.londonboi.com');

define('ENABLE_SSL_CATALOG', 'false');

define('DIR_FS_DOCUMENT_ROOT', '/home/content/londonboi/public_html/');

define('DIR_WS_ADMIN', '/admin/');

define('DIR_FS_ADMIN', '/home/content/londonboi/public_html/admin/');

define('DIR_WS_CATALOG', '/');

define('DIR_FS_CATALOG', '/home/content/londonboi/public_html/');

OR

Simply add an html redirect or Forward the domain to the URL you want loaded

Hey dude, I tried doing the foward the domain like you said but I am unsure if I done it right, could you confirm please.

I went to godaddy.

then I ticked my domain I want to foward.

then clicked foward above the domain name

then I clicked enable fowarding.

then I typed http://www.mydomain.com/greenmania/catalog which I want my shop

then I clicked 301 moved permanently but it's now been about 24-36 hours since I done this and it is still loading to my mydomain.com but I want it to load to

http://www.mydomain.com/greenmania/catalog

Have I done something wrong :S
