dramstore
Hi, New to oscommerce. Just installed the package via my plesk screen, install appeared to work fine and it looks good. Problem is, when I go to a product and click 'add to cart' I get taken to a page that says 'Your cart is empty!' I have looked on the internet and found people who have had this problem, but from around the year 2007 and noone seemed to have a definative answer. Hoping things might have changed in 2 years!! Anyone any ideas? Thanks

dramstore
Thanks for that. I was hoping it was a general fault? I assume as I just installed it straight from the latest version of plesk it might have happened to many people who might know the answers...? Anyone? hari_shyam
Thanks for that. I was hoping it was a general fault? I assume as I just installed it straight from the latest version of plesk it might have happened to many people who might know the answers...? Anyone? Thanks Hi Pete. I am not sure which version is installed. I did face an issues with old installations.. they dealt with HTTP_POST_VARS obseletion.. oscommerce still using these globals. That is a common issue with old installation upgrading to new php versions.. However, try creating an account.. if that works, then may be oscid problem.. check if you have cookies enabled.... else it might be the globals and PHP upgrade issue.. Cheers, Hari
