Guest
When you look at either manufacturers or subcategories, you get a list of products with a title up top that says "Let's See What We Have Here". I know how to change this to whatever I want. (/catalog/includes/languages/english/default.php for those not in the know.) However, I want to get a little more tricky and cator the header to whatever the customer clicked on. So if they clicked on a subcategory, you'd get: Let's see what we have in <subcategory> Or if they click on a manufacturer: Products made by <manufacturer> I've found where to mess with this (/catalog/default/) but after screwing with the code for an hour, I've come to realize the good people at oscommerce must be smarter than I, 'cause I don't quite get what I'm looking at. Has anyone already applied this to their site and if so, are they willing to explain to me how they did it? :)
agtlewis
I am trying to figure out how to do the same thing. I posted last night but no one has answered yet. http://www.oscommerce.com/forums/viewtopic.php?t=33177 I think it would have to be done through breadcrumb, taking one of the variables from there but I am not sure how to do that.
