Mayhem
I had a look at Paypal's "new" shopping cart system today and must say that it looks quite interesting. I was already considering using Paypal as an option for the site I am developing but would be interested to hear from people who have fully integrated the Paypal shopping cart. Is it easy(ish) to integrate, any hickups etc? Thanks, E.
rseigel
I don't know a thing about it but what would PayPal's "new shopping cart" have to do with OSC? I can't picture the purpose in integrating a shopping cart into a shopping cart when PayPal already works with OSC. :?
Mayhem
It doesn't seem to be a full-fledged shopping cart system. You would have seen this if you had cared to look... What I am looking for is a way to accept online payments. Paypal have just started to offer two "new" options. You can add either a "Pay now" button for individual purchases or integrate their so-called "shopping cart" and process multiple purchases. I know there is a OSC add-on for Paypal but was interested in hearing opinions on both systems... E.
Guest
I have been using osc2.1 with paypal for about a year now, and love it! :D As soon as time allows I will upgrade to 2.2, for more features. I have also used PayPal's shopping cart. It is great if you only have a couple of items, or are selling subscriptions, AND if you don't mind hand building/maintaining each page needed, as there is no admin feature. :( Linda

E. both of those Options have been avaible for some time now I have been Using Paypal for about 2 years, and I dont remeber them not having a Shopping cart or the Pay Now Buttons, they also have the Reoccuring Billing, and a Few other Thinsg this have no use for OSC, In the Packaged OSC Paypal Payment Module, the "pay now" option from palpay is utilized, OSC basically creates a "paynow" button for the total amount of the Purchasers Order, and then when the Buyer clicks that link in your OSC site they are transferred to Paypal to finish the Transaction, and then Brought back to your site for a Successful message there is also a PayPal Mod that uses the IPN fuctions to Varify the Buyer really submitted the payment Michael
