jestep
Hi Folks I have used Easy Populate for more than a year but I am getting a strange new problem. I really believe it is not in Easy Populate program but somehow in the data. For example, I can take a small test sample from a prior batch and it works just fine. All records in ths Excel spreadsheet are less than 12 characters which is my model number length setting. I am using version EP_v2_76h_MS2 & the web site (& a 2nd web site) are fully up to date with the latest osC releases. As best as I can determine I am getting a hexidecimal "23" inserted in front of the real model number "ABS 12951". I believe this is an "ETX (end of text)". I have tried this on a tab delimited format, a CSV format, the prior G version, the current H version, with all of the EOREOR column replaced, with data after the EOREOR column, with no data after the EOREOR column, with a header from a batch that worked, etc. I get the same results every time. Since I am bald, I can't "pull out my hair" but I sure am getting fustrated. Any ideas or help would be greatly appreciated. File uploaded. Temporary filename: /tmp/phprfcTBz User filename: Kellogg-1-300-wCorrPrice-TD.txt Size: 38510 23ABS 12951 ... ERROR! - Too many characters in the model number. 12 is the maximum on a standard OSC install. Your maximum product_model length is set to 12. You can either shorten your model numbers or increase the size of the "products_model" field of the "products" table in the database. Then change the setting at the top of the easypopulate.php file.
