I don't think theres ANYTHING like this in the addons, so I am looking to see if anyone here knows of one outside of OSC or can build one as a sponsored addon for osc?

I basically need a t-shirt builder.. A script that will show a picture of a t-shirt and you can place images and text on it.. grab and move, stretch, and add text.

if ANYONE knows of one out there, PLEASE let me know

Oh yea, and Advance Websoft has one.. but don't bother. They are not worth anyones time at the moment.

Well, I willtell you what happened to me.

Found the script an was emailing back and forth with the owner. The script has a lot of missing features and if you try it you will notice that the resize is just three preset sizes and the movement of the picture on the shirt is HORIBLE. You have to click and point where you want it toove instead of drag and drop like how it should be. You also can not rotate.

So when I contacted him I specifically said I will only purchase if you can make all of those missing features happen. He said fine it would take 2weeks and an additional $400. I was ok with that since this seemed to be my only hope. At first he wanted me to pay the full $400 up front and I said absolutely not. I paid half up front.

3weeks went by and I emailed looking for some kind of update. No response.

I then put in a dispute with paypal and instant got a response back from the guy. He was telling me he was almost there and gave me a link to his site where he was working. HE WASNT EVEN CLOSE TO DONE AND WHAT HE DID WAS CRAP.

Went through a payPal dispute to get my money back

There is a company called PDfreelance and they have much better versioon with a real resize and grab and move. And the guy is a lot nicer. I will link you to them when I am not on my iPhone

I am looking for a t-shirt builder too...

@lindsayanng: Can you tell me more about this PDfreelance company?

Sure I would prefer an open source solution but maybe there is nothing available yet.

I have built up a good customized oscommerce shop for sport articles in the past but now I have this request from a friend to built a shop for clothes including custom design...

Did somebody built something similar out of different contributions for oscommerce?

Or if anyone has experience with a project like this I would appriciate any ideas & help.

Thanks!

So, you're looking for a Web-based tee-shirt design editor, something like customink.com's? While I'm sure that it can be done, it would be a tremendous amount of work to implement (and do it well). You ain't gonna get that for $400, even from India. Perhaps there are some free or cheap general drawing toolkits or engines that you could drop into your site? You would have to modify them to present a tee outline background -- perhaps as a fixed background image (front and back). If you've googled only for "shirt editor", perhaps you should look for web page drawing systems (toolkits) and go from there. I wouldn't be surprised if such a kit is in the form of CGI code (C/C++ or Perl), rather than PHP. Good luck!
