Guest Posted February 1, 2003 Share Posted February 1, 2003 Len, You have made a nice color combination. Not too bright and yet eye-catching. A couple of things. It is very slow to load on my 56K dial up acct. It took over 100 seconds. Adding one of the multi-size image contributions should help. Small thumbnail files should be used (approx. 5k). Your logo file is pretty large too, over 25k. I would add the same background you use in your logo to the rest of the header. Guest Posted February 1, 2003 Share Posted February 1, 2003 I'm sure this is something that you have planned on fixing just forgot about it (something I do time and time again *grins*)... but in the footer you have two counters ... one that comes with osc and one that you added ... might want to delete out the one that came with osc. ;) Oh and one other thing that I just noticed you have a '.' under your top text that should be deleted. ;) There is a 15p low order charge on any order below ?15.00.. I agree with Kim and Steve about the graphics sizes and buttons, but I love the theme - nice and soothing. You might want to move a box or two from column_right to column_left to help balance it a bit and maybe try something like http://www.gifworks.com/index.html (no commercial intended, it's just a graphics tool) to remove the white background from your graphic at the upper right of the default page. ... if you want to REALLY see something that doesn't set up right out of the box without some tweaking, try being a Foster Parent!
