kersar
Hi, I am very new to all this so forgive me if I am repeating an already asked question. I have searched all over the forum for an answer but can't find anything that covers it. When my customers are ready to pay I want them to pay by paypal only. On my shop it has 2 buttons and says - Checkout or Paypal. I have removed all other payment options so I only take paypal but the button that says Checkout takes them nowhere as there is no payment method to select. How can I get this button to go to paypal or better still get rid of the button and just have the paypal button? Thanks in advance Alan
Guest
Hi Not sure what you mean by two buttons, Normally the checkout button takes you into the checkout screen where the customers chooses the payment method via checkboxes, Are you saying it's not getting that far? kersar
Hi Not sure what you mean by two buttons, Normally the checkout button takes you into the checkout screen where the customers chooses the payment method via checkboxes, Are you saying it's not getting that far? Hi, Sorry I am not explaining my self very well. When a customer views their cart contents there are 2 buttons to choose from. One is the normal checkout button and the other is the paypal button below. If a customer were to click on the normal checkout button they will taken through the screens for shipping etc until they get to the patment method choice screen. As I have removed all other payment methods there is nothing to select and this means they cannot pay. What I want is to only have the option of paying through paypal, by either removing the checkout button option and leaving the paypal button or when they arrive at the payment options screen be able to choose paypal only. Hope that explains a bit better :)
web-project
yes it is possible, you need to modify the php code on the product information page and shopping cart (on product_info.php page you can have 2 buttons, one takes you directly to PayPal to pay for the item and the second one to collect the items in the shopping cart and use the PayPal shopping card code to transfer whole your website shopping cart to PayPal server.) Please read this line: Do you want to find all the answers to your questions? click here. As for contribution database it's located here! 8 people out of 10 don't bother to read installation manuals. I can recommend: if you can't read the installation manual, don't bother to install any contribution yourself. Before installing contribution or editing/updating/deleting any files, do the full backup, it will save to you & everyone here on the forum time to fix your issues.
