Pass data to another database?

Simple Webs

Recommended Posts

Not sure if this is possible or not, what my client is asking for is when a person logins to the store and places an order, she wants the login email and amount paid to pass to another database, totaly seperate from osCommerce to track points and marketing.

I looked through some of the pages and some posts here, and I am assuming the checkout_process would be the best place to start, I am not really sure.

Any advice on this would be really appreciated.

I wrote some code that I believe gets the order total here

And in that same file, the customers email addy is in this variable:

$order->customer['email_address']

If I suggest you edit any file(s) make a backup first - I'm not perfect and neither are you.
