Configuring Shipping Rate

Recommended Posts

Please forgive me if this topic has already been addressed or a module exists for, but my research keeps running into naught.

I want to configure a shipping rate based on the following criteria:

If the sub-total equals $75 or less, then the shipping rate will be $10.00 (flat)

BUT, if the sub-total is greater than $75, then the shipping rate is 15% of the sub-total.

I know I could configure the Table Rate to do this, BUT the shipping table would be HUGE! Even if I work out the 15% on every $10 increase.

I've read at least one topic that dealt with adapting the "flat" shipping rate with a formula, but I kept getting a syntax error and couldn't make it work (my coding skills are a little rusty).

Can anyone help? Much appreciated!

Have you checked the contributions for this? I think I remember seeing a custom table there... Just a thought.

Thanks! I did a search, but I must have seriously sped through that and wasn't paying attention. I found two or three great options. Again, THANKS!
