New Install. Modules problem.

Hello.

 

I have just installed osCommerce on a test bench.

I am running with the following configuration.

 

Windows .Net Server , IIS , PHP 4.3.0 , MySql

 

Catalog located in :

h:inetpubwwwrootcatalog

Admin located in :

h:inetpubwwwrootcatalogadmin

 

 

Installation went ok, after 2 days I found out that the 2.2 was released :)

 

Now I am having a few problems.

 

In the Admin section when I try to access the Payment Modules it displays me only the path :

 

Payment Modules

Modules Sort Order Status Action

Module Directory: /catalog/includes/modules/payment/

 

And that's it , here it stops. :oops:

I can't choose any module , nothing.

Same problem with the Shipping and Order Total.

 

Anubody any ideea why ? :?:

If anyone else gets the error in the future, it would be helpful if you could post how you solved this.

The problem was that when I installed osCommerce some NTFS permissions were not set correct.

 

So , before you install be sure to give Read/Write Permission to EVERYONE on the /catalog/ folder.

 

Else some errors and warnings will come up and it will say : Installation Complete but with warnings.

 

If the NTFS permissions are set read/write to everyone then everything will go OK.

 

REMEMBER to REMOVE the Everyone group after you install !!!!!
