How do you stop images photos and whole pages being downloaded ie being copied and saved on other peoples P.C.'s I have a lot of photo's on my site which in one form or another I have paid for on my catalouge site it was just a question of clicking onto a allow or not in the sites admin. is it the same for osCommerce.

Several ways.

 

You could install a "no right click" script so they can't right-click on an image and "save as".

 

But that approach is not good for several reasons.

 

It can be defeated in about 2 seconds.

 

And it stops people from using the right click to open a new tab in the browser so they can shop on more than one page at a time.

 

There are ways to put a transparent gif over a valuable image so if they "save as" they get it instead.

 

You could put the image as a background in a table.

There are people that sell software that is supposed to help. Never tried it.

 

My opinion is if you have an image that valuable, don't publish it on the web or watermark it so no one WANTS to copy it.
