Awarding Bonus Dollars & Buy with Purchase Agreement

I am looking for two functions to add to our OSCommerce Site.

 

Does anyone know if anything like these exist, or if there is at least a good contribution that we could use as a jump-off point to create them.

 

First, I want to be able to allow our repeat customers to purchase items on a house account. We would give some of our regular customers house accounts and then invoice them in 15 or 30 days for their products. All orders would be confirmed by a sales rep before being placed.

 

Second, I would like to be able to award bonus points or bonus dollars to buyers with each of their purchases. They would have a running total, the more they buy the more they earn. When their bonus points reach the price of an item, they can cash them in for product.

This is something that is on my (rather long) list of to-do's...my thought was to assign either;

 

1 point per $/? spent. Or X points per product (with the ability to set extra points on particular products via Admin)...

 

I've mapped out what i need to do functionality wise, but it's finding extra spare time to do it :?

There is a Net Terms payment contribution:

For some reason it has been filed in Features rather than Payment Modules...

And interestingly, you could hack net terms up and make it do what you're looking for re: points system.

 

In the Net Terms admin section, you'll set spending/credit limits per user account. Rather than defining the credit amount per user, define that amount as a fraction of the user's total purchases. Keep track of the accumulation and allow the user to use it toward a purchase once it reaches $X.

Has anyone made a contribution or come up with the bonus bucks system? I think it would be a great feature giving customers a bonus by the more they purchase the more points they accrue.

 

please let me know if there is such a thing, I've looked without finding it.
