I'm trying to come up with a way where a customer can fill out request form (with some basic attributes like requested quantity, allowable price range, product description). This would be something that a customer could fill out if they need some products that are not already in the catalog, but that they are will to add to a "virtual cart." The real world example here is an automotive parts request site. A user can set up a cart or profile with the parts that they need. This parts request cart would be "active" for some period of time (30 days) and then would expire. If anybody has done this, or would be interested in this, please let me know. I will need to either use something already built or construct something that could be integrated with the OSC system.
