I am currently using a shopping cart that stores a credit card number in a secure area of the shopping cart site. If a site does not have a gateway for credit cards yet the website owner has cc facilities offline is there a way to have the CC number stored on the webserver or sent via encrypted email? (dB is database) Sorry I'm a newbie as well. I cant find this option in the admin interface, where can I change to store the real numbers instead of 4701XXXXXXXX2781 format ?
