Guest
I have a customer e-mailing me now that can not access his account. First I can not find his name or e-mail in my customer list. What if they lose their password? Is there anyway to send a change request? I don't see it on thier accounts in Admin. What's up with this and the lack of control? knifeman
Passwords are encrypted in the database. So you cannot view them even while viewing DB info. On the account log in page, there is a link for 'forgotten passwords'. The store will send a customer a new password to log in with. The catch is, they must have an account under the e-mail address they use to retrieve a new password. I recommend they copy/paste the new password as some letters and numbers are similar looking.
