Custom Computer Configurator Install

I apologize for being a newb here. I installed all components for OCC 9.3.1 (i tried installing an older configurator first, dont know if that matters), and followed the instructions in the readme file. Everything works perfectly, except that when click continue on the custom_checkout.php page. It just goes to the shopping cart and says the cart is empty??? lol any ideas. here is my website:

to get to the custom computer creator click on the link at the top right of the page labled: "Custom Computer Creator", it's by the "my account" tab (I haven't started to trobuleshoot the "build your own computer designer" link on the bottom right box, I need help with that too!)

 

 

 

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated, i'm kind of at a stand still right now
