Lars.Dongrie
Hi, I'm having some issues with the Products Attributes configuration (please see screenshot, Im not so good to explain. ;p) Is all the Option Values supposed to 'show up' regardles of what option name I've chosen? Any ideas how to fix this, is it a known bug? (The _only_ modification I've made is to install an additional language pack. (newest available Norwegian-package.)) http://img16.imageshack.us/img16/4607/oscommerceomg.png : Thanks !
Guest
Hello Lars, Yes, all options are available to every product selected. So, you only have to enter say the color RED once and you can use it for ANY product that is available in Red. Size Color Model Type are common Product Options Size ---------- Large, 24", 8 ft Color---------Red, Blue, Green Model-------- H7394, 1000, B Type--------- New, Used, A, B, C are common product values So if you are selling a Cotton Tshirt it could have the attributes: Size: Large Color: Red having said that, you could also charge different costs for each attribute. If the customer wants the tshirt extra large and it is $4.00 more, then X-Large could be shown as X-Large (+4.00). Or the actual price if you have installed a contribution that allows that. I have I have answered some of your questions. Chris
Lars.Dongrie
Thanks, But why am I able to select and add the 'SIZE' values in the 'COLOR' attribute? Shouldnt this be limited to the 'Option Names' to keep it from being a mess?
