Identification Code on Order

Client wants purchaser to be able to enter a 6 digit code into the cart on check out that will identify that purchaser as part of a group. This number is not tied to anything and just needs to be passed through, printed on the invoice and be reported in the admin section of the website. The owner of the site will then give credit to the group for the purchase made by that visitor.

 

Any easy to accomplish this?

I think I found the answer - therer is already an "Add Comments About Your Order" on the checkout_shipping.php. I will test this to see if it shows up on the invoice and in the admin
