how do i set permissions to a folder

Hey everybody.

 

I have set up a osCommerce site on this domain www.takdinlaerer.dk/catalog It all works fine besides that i get this error message in the top of my site:

Warning: I am able to write to the configuration file: /customers/takdinlaerer.dk/takdinlaerer.dk/httpd.www/catalog/includes/configure.php. This is a potential security risk - please set the right user permissions on this file.

 

I dont know how to set the permissions on these files. I read the installation guide on this page but when i look in the php files i dont know where to look.

 

Hope that someone will help me out with this:)

You can try right clicking on the file using your fto program and selecting chmod. Or you can change them via your hosts control panel. You will need to ask your host how to do that since it varies with the control panel and host.
