Guest Posted February 19, 2009 Posted February 19, 2009 i have changed my database server, and i have to change the ip address on my site...have just edited the /catalog/includes/configuration.php /catalog/admin/includes/configurations.php but i still getting error messages that refers at the OLD database address, so there is probably some other files i have to change... can you please help me find them? thanks :)

If the config files are there anything in them overrides the normal config files. If I suggest you edit any file(s) make a backup first - I'm not perfect and neither are you. If the config files are there anything in them overrides the normal config files. unluckily there's nothing there... well i decide to download everithing from the server and make a "content search" on all the files, searching for the old ip... but thanks anyway for the tip :):)
Guest Posted February 20, 2009 Posted February 20, 2009 OMG....well today i've been on the same page of yesterday, but now the site works perfectly...without any influence by me... lol i start tosuppose yesterday i wasn't able to see the site due to the session...well i never quit the browser so probably i've started the session while there was the old config file... or something like that... lol i feel so numb :P
