I downloaded the contact_us.php,but could not see the code to edit the section I was looking for. the html that controls the appearance of the page is in contact_us.php. however, the language strings (the stuff you probably want to be changing...) is located in includes/languages/<your language name>/contact_us.php. look in there and you'll see the strings that appear on the page.
